CHINESE NEW YEAR DECORATION – FLOWER BALL 红绣球

For Chinese New Year celebrations, it is customary for the Chinese to decorate their home with flowers，ie。plum blossoms，peony, water lily or narcissus.

The most prominent colors of the Chinese New Year are red and gold. Red symbolizes happiness, while gold symbolizes wealth.

FLOWER BALL 红绣球 - DO IT YOURSELF ( DIY )
Below showing you the ways of doing a red flower ball ( the Chinese named it as Hydrainger flower ball ).
Material used : 2 meters of red cloth (for length ), a roll of small red ribbon and a pair of Chinese Tassels.
The 2 meters long red cloth has to be cut into half become 2 pieces to make 2 balls.
